altTEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ramin Mehmanparast has described the recent remarks by Saudi Arabian foreign minister against Tehran as astonishing.

Saud bin Faisal bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, during a recent meeting of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, claimed that the Islamic Republic has been interfering in the internal affairs of certain regional countries.

“We expect Saudi officials to take measures to revise their approach and… stance toward the Islamic Republic of Iran and regional countries instead of leveling allegations against others.”
